So I found this AMAZING website on how to garden. It's this whole new theory of gardening!! Instead of having to make a ton of space to dig up the ground, plant seeds, add rows etc. you simply build a box, add dirt, plant your veggies, and your done!! AMAZING!! I CANT WAIT TO GET STARTED!! I have built my box and planned my garden out. Just need to get some dirt and plant away!!!
I am going to fill up my food storage this year!!!
Check out the website!!!!

Keeping it up!
I am so impressed with myself that I have written twice now in the last week or so.
So, so far I am doing ok with my goals. I work out only once a week right now but I figure it's better than nothing.
Hannah is doing wonderfully!! She is sitting up on her own and is starting to figure out crawling! It is so exciting to see her develop and grow up. Although sometimes I feel like she is growing up way too quickly.
So we were trying to decide what we were going to do this year as far as school goes. In Orillia I still require .5 of a credit in a certain course that only the Orillia Lakehead campus requires but Thunder Bay doesn't. So we were thinking that we might be moving to Thunder Bay for the year to finish up school. It wasn't a decision that we wanted to make but we felt it was the best thing to do if it meant I could finish up school. Well, we found out that although they don't require the course that Orillia does, but Thunder Bay replaces it with 2 more full credits of a course.... So obviously I decided to stay here and stick it out for another year.
So this year we are going to stay at the Orillia campus. I will be working for the most part of the year and taking a couple courses to get on track for my professional year. Ty will be in school full time like usual.
So for work I am trying to figure out what I am going to do. I am thinking I will try my hardest to supply teach as much as possible, which means I need to get my resume, cover letter and portfolio in order to apply and go on interviews. In case I don't get enough supply teaching jobs I am going to try and get a part time position at the Oxford learning center or Sylvan. I figure I need to get as much teaching experience as possible so that this year benefits my future career plans.
We are also looking for a new apartment. Right now we are living with Ty's parents for the summer so try and save some money and get situated. We have always moved into the first place that we look at never really take our time to find the perfect apartment. So we are slowly trying to look and find something that suits our needs perfectly!!
Phew...well that is what is going on in our lives right now. I am going to go and work on my resume right now.
OH!! And we are leaving for the cottage this Friday. SOOOOO EXCITED!!!

NEW BEGINNING!!
So today is the start of a new me!!!
I have been feeling so BLAH latley. I have a crummy attitude and I just don't feel so great about myself. I have lost all of my pregnancy weight but my body definitely isn't where it should be.
So today is the beginning of my new life.
Here are the goals that I have set for myself and I really want everyone reading this to keep me motivated to achieve them:
- sweat at least 3 times a week (cardio of some kind)
- do an ab workout everyday (something to get my stomach muscles back to how they were pre- Hannah)
-don't sweat the small stuff (take a deep breath more often and think if the situation is really that big a deal)
-take some me time (scrapbook, blog, bake...do something that makes me happy)
- put more energy into my calling and church (be more creative, study scriptures more)
I really think that by doing these things I will be a better mother and wife. I have just gotten myself so stressed out lately over the smallest things. Today by hubby said something that really made it click "why are you so strung out?". So that is my goal, to not get so strung out and run myself thin.
So I need everyone to cheer me on and make sure I am updating my blog at least once a week and keeping on track!!!
HERE'S TO THE NEW ME!!!!
Cheers
I will add this to the end of all of my blogs:
waist: 33" ...can that be right???
bust: 37"
rear: 34:
weight: 153lbs
How am I feeling this week: Tired, crummy, blah

YOUCH!!!!!
So yesterday was not a good day for me.
In the morning I was planning on going to a friends house when I started to not feel so well in my stomach. I called and cancelled and tried to lay on the couch. Ty went off to school at about 9am. By 9 30 I was in so much excruciating pain I had to call my mom to come and watch Hannah because I felt like I needed to go to the walk in clinic. My mom got to our house by 10am. Since Tyler had the car we didn't have the car seat for Hannah. I then tried to call anyone I knew that could take me to the clinic because I couldn't stand the pain anymore. Thankfully my Oma was able to take me. When she came to pic me up she said that we should get to the hospital instead.
By the time we got there I thought I was going to die. The doctor took me almost right away since they thought that it could be my appendix that was causing so much pain. They got me into a bed pretty quick and got me hooked up to an IV and some pain killers...THANK YOU!! The doctors were stumped as to what it was since they knew it wasn't my appendix, they thought it could by my ovaries, kidney stones or a bladder infection, but I had had a bladder infection before and it felt nothing like this. So after doing many tests and an ultrasound they figured out it was 5mm kidney stone...OWWW!!! Tyler finally called home after is class at about noon and was surprised when my mom answered the phone. She told him what was happening and got to the hospital as soon as he could. He brought the breast pump so I could pump milk for Hannah.
After getting some medication and being sent home to pass it, they want it to pass naturally because if I had to go into surgery to have it removed I would be out of commission for a while (Hannah would have to be formula fed), So I'd rather go through some more pain for Hannah's sake. I feel soooo much better today. They gave me some meds (that would be safe for nursing) and I am taking Ibuprofen. They gave me some Tylenol 3 but i don't want to take them because they can affect Hannah (make her sleepy).
So after a very eventful day at the hospital yesterday and missing my little girl sooooooooo much, I am now home, trying to take it easy, and being taken care of by my wonderful hubby.

I'm back!!

It is pretty amazing being a mom. I never thought I would embrace it as much as I have. I absolutely love being with Hannah everyday and spending every moment with her. She is already 7 weeks old and is doing so much! She is such a happy baby! She is aways smiling and cooing away. She has been holding her head up for a little while now, not great but she is trying.
Tyler and I took her swimming for the first time last Thursday and she loved it. She didn't like having to get out though and go into the cold changing room. We forgot to bring our camera though so I will be sure to bring it this week when we go again.
As far as marriage goes, things are going really well. It's pretty amazing how a child can bring 2 people so much closer together. The love that I have for Tyler is so much deeper now that we have made a child together. Its hard to have alone time now that Hannah takes up all of our time but we really try.
Now that Hannah is here I am done school and taking the role as a stay at home mom, which I am loving. I am really hoping to start writing a lot more and letting everyone now how and what we are doing. I am really excited to start up the blog again!!!

It's a girl?
We had our first ultrasound on Monday July 7th. It was very exciting being able to see our little baby. We were most excited to be able to find out the sex of the baby so that we could start planning for our little one. Just my luck, we were unable to see 100% if it was a girl or a boy. The technician said that she was pretty sure it was a girl but couldn't really tell.
Also, because the baby was in a position where it was hard to determine the sex she was also in a position that made it difficult for the technician to see her heart (notice I am calling her a her..). They need to be able to see every part of the baby and make sure everything is working properly before they reach 24 weeks old. Since they were unable to see everything we need to go back within the next 2 Weeks to have another ultrasound.
I was a little disappointed with the ultrasound clinic that we went to last because they don't give pictures of the baby. So I am excited that we get to have another ultrasound so that we can get a picture and see our little baby again. We did get a video of the ultrasound which is very cool to see, she moves around a ton and is soooo cute.
