YOUCH!!!!!

So yesterday was not a good day for me.
In the morning I was planning on going to a friends house when I started to not feel so well in my stomach. I called and cancelled and tried to lay on the couch. Ty went off to school at about 9am. By 9 30 I was in so much excruciating pain I had to call my mom to come and watch Hannah because I felt like I needed to go to the walk in clinic. My mom got to our house by 10am. Since Tyler had the car we didn't have the car seat for Hannah. I then tried to call anyone I knew that could take me to the clinic because I couldn't stand the pain anymore. Thankfully my Oma was able to take me. When she came to pic me up she said that we should get to the hospital instead.
By the time we got there I thought I was going to die. The doctor took me almost right away since they thought that it could be my appendix that was causing so much pain. They got me into a bed pretty quick and got me hooked up to an IV and some pain killers...THANK YOU!! The doctors were stumped as to what it was since they knew it wasn't my appendix, they thought it could by my ovaries, kidney stones or a bladder infection, but I had had a bladder infection before and it felt nothing like this. So after doing many tests and an ultrasound they figured out it was 5mm kidney stone...OWWW!!! Tyler finally called home after is class at about noon and was surprised when my mom answered the phone. She told him what was happening and got to the hospital as soon as he could. He brought the breast pump so I could pump milk for Hannah.

After getting some medication and being sent home to pass it, they want it to pass naturally because if I had to go into surgery to have it removed I would be out of commission for a while (Hannah would have to be formula fed), So I'd rather go through some more pain for Hannah's sake. I feel soooo much better today. They gave me some meds (that would be safe for nursing) and I am taking Ibuprofen. They gave me some Tylenol 3 but i don't want to take them because they can affect Hannah (make her sleepy).

So after a very eventful day at the hospital yesterday and missing my little girl sooooooooo much, I am now home, trying to take it easy, and being taken care of by my wonderful hubby.

Big Girl

So a few nights ago we tried putting Hannah in her own room to sleep. We kept her in the bassinet that she had been sleeping in since we thought putting her in her room and in her crib would be too much of a change. The first two nights she slept for 7 straight hours!!I couldn't believe it. Then after a few nights I thought maybe she could try sleeping in her crib. Well, she obviously wasn't ready for that because she had woken up every 2 hours to eat, not usual for Hannah. So we decided instead of putting the bassinet all back together, I was eager and put the bassinet away, we put just the bed part of the bassinet into her crib. She is now sleeping a little better but still waking up often, I think she may be going through a growth spurt.

I also took some pics of my belly cast which I did when I was pregnant with Hannah. I wanted to get pictures of her and the belly when she was fist born but forgot about it. So these pictures are of her 2 pounds bigger than she was at birth.

I'm back!!

Ok, so it has been a long, long time since I have last wrote on here, like 6 months!! I can't believe it, life has just been sooo busy!

Well, I am pleased to announce the arrival of our beautiful baby girl Hannah Ann Harding.

It is pretty amazing being a mom. I never thought I would embrace it as much as I have. I absolutely love being with Hannah everyday and spending every moment with her. She is already 7 weeks old and is doing so much! She is such a happy baby! She is aways smiling and cooing away. She has been holding her head up for a little while now, not great but she is trying.

Tyler and I took her swimming for the first time last Thursday and she loved it. She didn't like having to get out though and go into the cold changing room. We forgot to bring our camera though so I will be sure to bring it this week when we go again.

As far as marriage goes, things are going really well. It's pretty amazing how a child can bring 2 people so much closer together. The love that I have for Tyler is so much deeper now that we have made a child together. Its hard to have alone time now that Hannah takes up all of our time but we really try.

Now that Hannah is here I am done school and taking the role as a stay at home mom, which I am loving. I am really hoping to start writing a lot more and letting everyone now how and what we are doing. I am really excited to start up the blog again!!!
